Pia Ikkala

Pia Ikkala is our legal advisor. Pia has over 15 years of legal, regulatory and policy experience covering e-commerce, intellectual property, electronic communications, data protection, trade regulations, consumer protection and commercial contracting. She is the former Director of Policy at Microsoft in Brussels, and prior to that, Senior Director in Regulatory Strategy at Skype.

A Finnish native, Pia has lived and worked in various countries including Sweden, Spain, France and the UK. She is fluent in Finnish, English, Spanish and French. She holds an LL.M. from University of Turku in Finland, and an MBA from IESE Business School in Spain.
